FENG SUSHI — A RAVE MONUMENT

Historic monuments show the “heros” of forgotten times that often don’t connect with todays culture (think nationalist Karl Lueger). Contemporary and Sub-Culture remains mostly invisible in the public sphere. In the middle of the Covid Pandemic in partnership with Austria’s only music TV show “Feng Sushi” on A1now we set out to change that: Legitimized by an online vote, we installed a rave monument for LGBTIQ+ activist, DJ and organizer Gerald VDH at the Vienna Karlsplatz that gave every by-passer the chance for a little rave at the push of a button.
Supported by a consistent PR strategy and influencer activation, we earned broad media coverage for the cause and the new A1now TV show.
